How Porsche Created an Ad

Posted on February 17, 2025 by [email protected]

I don’t think I am speeding 🤷‍♀️

Porsche made a really smart and funny ad about people getting pulled over for speeding.

Instead of being serious, it turns the moment into a joke.

Here’s why this ad works so well:

 1. It’s Funny and Easy to Relate To – Most people have either been pulled over or know someone who has. In the ad, drivers give hilarious excuses like “I am doing high – speed alignment, sir” and “I don’t even think I was speeding.” It makes us laugh and keeps us interested.

 2. It Shows Different Types of People – The ad includes drivers of all ages and backgrounds, showing that Porsche isn’t just for one type of person. No matter who they are, they all love driving their Porsche.

 3. The Car Says It All – Instead of listing facts about speed, horsepower, or features, the ad lets the drivers’ emotions do the talking. It shows that driving a Porsche is exciting without needing a narrator to explain why.

 4. A Simple but Powerful Ending – The ad finishes with a shot of a silver Porsche 911 (996) pulled over, while the police officer walks away. There’s no loud slogan, just a quiet message: Porsche makes driving so fun that people can’t help but go fast.

👉 This ad is great because it doesn’t just sell a car – it sells an experience.

It reminds us that Porsche isn’t just about getting from one place to another; it’s about enjoying the drive.

And that’s what makes it unforgettable.

You’ve managed to create something both thought-provoking and deeply comforting — not an easy feat.
