GAC Toyota (Guangzhou Auto – Toyota) is taking a significant step toward ecosystem-level smart mobility by formally integrating with Xiaomi’s “Human-Car-Home” platform.

The upcoming bZ7 will be the first model to adopt this integration.
👉 From a technical standpoint, this collaboration introduces:
• Open hardware ecosystem interfaces for third-party and Xiaomi-compatible devices
• Native support for Xiaomi smart voice intercoms
• Integration of in-vehicle mounts and IoT accessories from the Xiaomi ecosystem
✅ This move signals an increasing trend toward modular and open vehicle platforms, enabling enhanced interoperability between consumer electronics and automotive systems.

✅ It also reflects Xiaomi’s strategy to become an enabler in the SDV (Software Defined Vehicle) space by leveraging its extensive IoT and mobile ecosystem to bridge user experience across home, phone, and car.
✍️ This kind of cross-domain convergence is exactly where the future of connected mobility is headed.
