Do humanoid robots need rest?

Posted on July 6, 2025July 6, 2025 by [email protected]

Technically no. But practically? Absolutely.

Even robots get tired… of our unrealistic expectations.

You see, while they don’t yawn or need coffee breaks, most humanoids today only run for 2 to 4 hours before they start begging (silently) for a recharge.

Why?

🔋 Low battery.
🌡️ Overheating joints.
💻 System updates – because even robots hate software updates.
🛠️ Mechanical wear. They may be made of metal, but those knees still get creaky.

Some smart ones can walk to their charging stations like well-trained dogs.

Others just slump over dramatically until a human plugs them in.

So next time someone says, “robots will replace all our jobs,” just remind them:

“They still need naps. And someone to charge them.”

The future is robotic
– But it’s still running on 20% battery. 😅
